LBBA Lab Program Resumes with BUILDLab
After a two-year hiatus, our LBBA lab program returned this summer. This year's group, BUILDLab, marks our 11th year hosting this internship for high school students and college-age mentors.

Westhaven Park IID Groundbreaking
For nearly a decade we have been collaborating with Brinshore Development and The Michaels Organization on Westhaven Park, a multi-phase redevelopment project of the former CHA Henry Horner Homes site.
43 Green Phase 1 Complete
In June, the first phase of the 43 Green development was completed. With 99-mixed-income units and 5,500 sqft of retail space, this phase is the largest of the three-phase Equitable Transit Development located in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood. The Habitat Company and P3 Markets co-developed this significant project that will play a part in activating 43rd Street and re-energizing the historic neighborhood.
BUILD Chicago Mural
Chicago artist, Dwight White, finished the mural at BUILD.
Open House Brand Refresh Celebration
In October we threw an open house to celebrate both our 36th year and our new brand release.
Foglia Residences at Chicago Lighthouse Nears Completion
The Foglia Residences at the Chicago Lighthouse is nearing completion after beginning construction in August, 2022. In November we gave Urbanize Chicago a tour of the building before the finishing touches are made and residents start moving in. Read More
New Hires
This year we were happy to welcome four new people to the team: Gina Zari, Amelia Tabeling, Gregg Ussery, and Sara Fundator. Gina and Amelia joined as senior project architects, Gregg as a project designer, and Sara as a marketing coordinator.
Brookwood at Antioch Completed
Brookwood at Antioch celebrated its ribbon cutting in April and received a 2023 Fay Jones Alumni Design citation award.
