43 Antioch is an MHDC-funded, 66-unit multi-building community in The Northland of Kansas City. It is a combination of townhome and apartment flats buildings with a transformed Community Building and extensive site and outdoor programming. To provide ample housing options units are a mix of one-, two-, three-, four-, and five-bedroom apartments and townhomes. The development also includes play lots, garden plots, school bus loading zones, workout facilities, a computer lab, and a pre-K learning space. 43 Antioch underwent an extensive and fruitful community process to understand how best to reinvent a blighted former motel complex.
