The Foglia Residences at the Chicago Lighthouse is nearing completion after beginning construction at the end of August, 2022. Directly next to one of the Chicago Lighthouse’s clinics in the Illinois Medical District, The Foglia Residences will be the first LIHTC building in the country for the blind and visually impaired.

Once complete, the mixed-income, Transit-Oriented Development will provide 76 units, commercial and office space, a large community room with a roof deck, and parking. In November, we gave Urbanize Chicago a tour of the building before the finishing touches were made.
