We’re pleased to announce that LBBA won a 2023 Chicago Neighborhood Development Award for Lucy Gonzalez Parsons Apartments! An unbelievable amount of community support went into the development and we are deeply appreciative of everyone who advocated for this project.

As Chicago’s first Equitable Transit-Oriented Development, LGPA ensures that long-time residents can continue to call the Logan Square home. In his speech, LBBA principal, Tyler Brown stated, “We as a country have built eight parking spaces for every single car, but we still haven’t built housing for every person.” By working with passionate teams like Bickerdike, we are hoping to change this misguidance.

It is an honor to receive this recognition and we are so grateful for our hardworking team who made this project a reality!
