North Pullman Place

Historic Preservation

COMPLETED IN 2008

North Pullman Place, located at 10461 N. Corliss in Chicago’s North Pullman Landmark District, was originally built in the 1880’s as a tenement house.

The building exterior underwent a historic rehabilitation to meet Landmark standards. Some of the specific challenges included researching, documenting, and then incorporating historically accurate windows, the ornate front porch, decorative chimney, and paint colors. The interior rehabilitation was not restricted by the Landmark status and was converted into 6 loft-style residential units.
