Shraddha Jain

Shraddha earned her post-professional Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Architecture from Sushant University in India. Her global studies allowed her to blend her creative design talents with a sharp eye for detail across diverse scales.

Growing up in a developing city in India, she witnessed its transformation from an isolated farmland to a technological and financial hub, observing how the built environment adapted to accommodate a diverse influx of migrants. This experience inspired her undergraduate thesis, “Alternatives in Urban Architecture,” which explored design strategies to create inclusive and humanized spaces in modern India. Her postgraduate thesis, “Soft Order,” further examined networks that foster social cohesion and resilience in Detroit's rapidly gentrifying neighborhoods.

Before joining LBBA, Shraddha spent three years working on large-scale multi-family and healthcare projects on the south side of Chicago. She’s excited to further her passion for designing human-focused solutions at the intersection of housing/wellness and community enrichment.

Outside of the office, Shraddha is a professional Indian classical dancer (kathak) and enjoys hiking. Her travels around the world as a performer introduced her to the limitless breadth of architecture at a young age.
