Meghan is excited to be back in Chicago after building a diverse architectural career across the country. She studied at the University of Minnesota before earning a master's degree from the University of Colorado. At both institutions, sustainability became a central value in her work. Graduate studies included net-zero design projects and participation in the Holt Watters Field Camp project, where she contributed to the design and construction of an off-grid campus supporting scientists in Antarctica. Outside the classroom, a love of backpacking and hiking in the Minnesota Wilderness and the Rocky Mountains further strengthened an appreciation for the natural environment and the importance of environmentally responsible design.

Meghan's professional experience, much of it focused on affordable housing, has shaped a strong commitment to designing equitable communities. Her dedication to innovative housing solutions was recognized through a second-place finish and the Sustainability Award in the AIA Denver Affordable Housing Challenge. As a Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC) through the Passive House Institute US (PHIUS), Meghan brings expertise in high-performance building design — work that sits at the intersection of affordability and sustainability to create resilient solutions.
