Maleno Quintero

Maleno migrated to the United States in 1991 and was one of the first DACA recipients in 2012. Once he received DACA, Maleno was finally able to pursue architecture by attending the Illinois Institute of Technology where he earned a Professional Bachelor Degree in Architecture.

LBBA's emphasis on "Good Design is for Everyone" is what initially drew Maleno to the firm. He is a strong believer in "Housing as a Human Right" and is proud to be a part of a firm that upholds this ideology. Maleno is deeply involved with the immigration movement. Before attending college, Maleno assisted Chicago migrants at the 4th Ward Congressional Office and has volunteered with numerous organizations including Sin Fronteras and Familias Latinas Unidas.
