Gina Zari

Gina earned a post-professional Master of Architecture at the Yale School of Architecture and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Architecture, Concentration in Furniture Design. Throughout her studies, she cultivated a passion for honoring and strengthening communities through design.

Prior to joining LBBA, Gina contributed to large-scale public buildings on several college campuses, including the University of Virginia, the University of Arkansas, and the University of Notre Dame. She’s excited to apply her experience more locally to help underserved communities as a member of the LBBA team.

Gina volunteers through the AIA Chicago Architects in Schools program and participates as a mentee in the AIA National Align Mentorship program. She was named the 2018 Luminarts Fellow in Architecture and has served as a guest juror for design reviews at the SAIC, UIC, and UND. In her free time, she enjoys baking, sketching, and exploring Chicago’s parks with her husband and young daughter.
