Amelia Tabeling
AIA
Amelia Tabeling has worked in Chicago since 2010 and has completed residential projects ranging from single family home renovations to mixed-use midrise buildings to the adaptive reuse of a landmarked high-rise and on project types such as offices, museums, and university buildings. She earned a Master of Science in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University.
Amelia is passionate about learning and believes curiosity enriches design from concept to completion and she strives to make beauty every day. Her favorite part about being an architect is exploring old, new, and under-construction buildings and figuring out how their systems work within the architecture.
Outside of the office, Amelia loves to play tennis and piano and, with her husband, is overseeing the renovation of their family home. Dedicated to engaging with Chicago’s cultural scene, she has volunteered in architecture galleries and enjoys attending art and music shows.
