Last Friday, we had the privilege of attending the groundbreaking ceremony for Island Terrace Apartments, a transformative project located just blocks away from the future Obama Presidential Center. Initiated by POAH Chicago, this project will preserve and enhance 240 units of affordable housing in the vibrant Woodlawn neighborhood.

We were honored to stand alongside our client POAH, Senator Dick Durbin, Commissioner Lissette Castañeda of the Chicago Department of Housing, Island Terrace residents, and officials from the Illinois Housing Development Authority and the Department of Housing and Urban Development at this celebration. Their presence underscores the importance of this project and our shared commitment to ensuring access to affordable housing in our city.
