Senior Project Architect Matt McGrane was thrilled to represent the firm at last week's AIA 24 Conference on Architecture and Design in Washington DC.

He kicked off the conference by presenting 3 recent LBBA ETOD projects (LGPA, 43 Green, Westhaven Park IID) with project partners Joy Aruguete from Bickerdike and Renauld Deandre Mitchell from Moody Nolan. For the rest of the conference, Matt was energized by the growing emphasis on equity and inclusion in the profession, including inspiring speeches by award winners and AIA President Kim Dowdell, and presentations from like-minded colleagues and practitioners. He also was able to take in the Expo (including a Puppy Park!) and enjoy events, tours, and even some sketching.

We're looking forward to continuing to advocate for our special brand of design and activism at more AIA events in the future.
