Last weekend, Jack Schroeder attended a screening of "A Letter To The West Side" in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Directed by Kameron Donald of Breyko and produced in partnership with the Ann Arbor Housing Commission (AAHC), this powerful documentary celebrates the West Side — a historically Black community that has played a vital role in shaping the city's identity.

Our upcoming Dunbar Tower development, featuring 63 affordable housing units, will honor this rich heritage through public art installations and a dedicated community space. This new gathering place aims to recapture some of what was lost when the original Dunbar community center closed its doors years ago.
